Fun Activities - Last week of School and More...

  Monday                     

Today we celebrate Elliott's 5th birthday along with his brother Julian, mom, dad and baby sister. Elliott's mom read us the book, Elbow Grease vs Motozilla by John Cena as the Cardinals ate cupcakes brought in by Elliott! Thank you, Elliott, for sharing your birthday and your family with us! Thank you, Morgan, Demetrius, Julian and Scarlett for spending time with us!

                                   Happy 5th Birthday Elliott

The Cardinals were very excited for our creek walk today! Many many times this morning our Cardinals asked, "When are we going on the creek walk?" When it was actually time for us to go a big cheer was heard in the room!! 

Each Cardinal shared their show and Tell, followed by answering questions about their shared item!!                         

Tuesday    

Friends arrived at school excited for our pajama day!! We made Necklace, Bracelets, Paint and did coloring! The Cardinals asked to eat snack and listening to read aloud outside!  Friends loved the frozen yogurt tubes!

We mixed the batter for our banana bread cupcakes and a teacher took them home to bake. 

Wednesday

Welcome to Wacky Wednesday!!  We had our last assembly for this school year! Followed by our smoothie making, we made strawberry, banana, mango and vanilla yogurt smoothie. We also made mango, banana, vanilla yogurt and spinach smoothie. The Cardinals had our Banana bread cupcakes along with our smoothies!

Thursday

The Cardinals choose the color balloon their wanted to take home by sitting on that chair. Friends then created their own ice cream sundaes!!

                         What a fun time we had!!

Over the past weeks, we celebrated Evie's 5th birthday! Evie's mom Beth read one of Evie's favorite books, Old McDonald. Friends ate cupcakes that Evie brought in to share. Thank you, Evie, for sharing your birthday and your mom with us.

Said Bye to Nat as he and his family moved to San Francisco!

Finley's mom and dad came to visit. Matt Finley's dad read us a few Gerald and Piggie books by Mo Williams. Matt did a great job of using different tones of voices as he read. The Cardinals and teachers absolutely enjoyed Matt's reading! Friends also did an activity of drawing and stickers. Thank you, Finley, Matt and Maryrose!
