Weekend News
Masai - I was playing with my baby sister. I go to my favorite restaurant Top Pot. My Nana come and we were having movie night and we eat popcorn. I even eat Chick-Fil-A chicken and fries. Me and my baby sister watch Sid The Science Kid. We even got Chinese food.
Logan - I go dentist. I play with my sister.
Colby - I went my basement. I play toys and Cooper. We cook muffins with mommy and daddy.
Aya - I actually go to my mom-mom's house. I was playing with my dolls that my mom-mom brought me. I put on my shoe and my daddy pick me up. I go home and see my mommy. My dad said we go get breakfast from a restaurant.
Nat - I play with John. My play fire trucks and trash trucks.
Evie - I was watching tv at home with my sister.
Renata - I play with my brother and I ate dinner and went to sleep. I went to get a haircut and get my hair done. My mom didn't do my hair, not even my brother or my dad, someone else did it.
Elliott - I had a visitor at my house. I went to the museum and it was so fun. They had some stuff to play with and I look at some stuff. I got to see pictures of dinosaurs and toothless. Toothless is a dragon.
Lila - We had a Valentine's party with Liv and Enzie. We had cookie and watch Magic School Bus and drink seltzer with fancy straw. The Magic School kids got bake in a cake. We went to dance camp.
Lake - I play with my mommy. We make some hot coco. I play tea with my mommy. I go to the play place with my cousins. We jump up and down on the trampoline.
Today, the Cardinals choose the color that best represents their skin and painted their person/persona in Spanish class. Stay Tune for next steps!

Wednesday
The Cardinals listened attentively as Ashanti read us the books The Adventures of Beekle by Dan Santat and How We Share Cake by Deborah Smith. Soon it was time to choose and check out a book to bring back to our classroom.
We told our Cardinals from the beginning of the school year that when we get to the 100th day of school. They get to decide what kind of celebration we should have. Today, the Cardinals decided to have a Costume/Pajama party!! Each friend got a chance to say what they wanted to wear and what to call our party!

Finley led us into music class today, after warming up singing our hello song along with some of our favorite songs. Keisha taught us a new folk tale called Seven Steps with movements.
Thursday
The Cardinals working on a portrait of what they might look like at 100 years old.
Gym class began with Tiffany leading us in pop up tag. We learned about the Winter Olympics and how to play curling! Each team would practice sliding a puffy ball across the gym with the goal of getting it into the target on the other side of the gym. We finished off gym class with a round of Pacman tag and were off to our next adventure!
Friday
While the Cardinals were working on a project with their second grade buddies in Spanish class. A teacher began making pancakes for our special 100 day snack. Friends chose which kind of warm pancakes they wanted, as some were made with chocolate chips. We also had strawberries, blueberries, grapes muffins and yogurt. Friends started with 2 pancakes, fruit and yogurt, however most Cardinals had 4 -5 pancakes! Yum Yum!! Ask your Cardinal How many pancakes they ate
